So, as I mentioned in my previous post I have been hooked on watching CharmingPixieFlora on YouTube since I discovered her videos. She had one segment where she made Spell Stars! They're basically star cutouts made from cinnamon and applesauce. Very simple, very easy. It's like making cutting out sugar cookies! You can have so much fun with these. Here is a link to to her YouTube video. Unfortunately there wasn't an embedded formula I could use to imbed the video into my post but no biggie. Just follow the link!

Cinnamon's magickal properties are spirituality, healing, psychic powers, protection, love, luck, knowledge, success and power.
Apples are known to be fruit of the Gods so the Spell Stars are THAT much more powerful. :) Their magickal properties are love, healing, garden magic and immortality.
I am thinking of making these as Yule gifts....stars, circles and moons. I love her idea of putting them in a jar as gifts! The other idea I had was to decorate my year-around tree. Unfortunately the tree is pink but that's okay. Brown and pink are the new "in" colors right? Lol!
I apologize in advance for the lighting....my kitchen was awfully bright that afternoon and some pictures look a little washed out. :)
The Sun is returning...

You know, I made these with my kids for years, and never thought about using them for spells! The smell so wonderful, and harden up so nicely (they last for years!).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, I will definitely check her out!
I'm not a cook, but even I might have a go at these :-) thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteThese are so neat. I made them one year for Christmas gifts in the shape of teapots!
ReplyDeleteI like watching this Pixie girl ~ sorta reminds me of Rachel Ray!
Someone gifted me these for Christmas once. I will have to make some - I loved them! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou got me hooked on her videos. I subscribed to her channel on Youtube. Thank you for this!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding me to your blog list!
ReplyDeleteShe is just a fun person to watch! Thank you so much for her link. These I like to make for Yule gifts, I really like the jar idea.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how easy magic can be sometimes!
ReplyDeleteShe sent me some of these! I love the little pentacle press she uses for the centers of them.
ReplyDeleteI found one on Amazon I'm going to order. I think using these as gifts is a wonderful idea. Plus, I've been using them as offerings to the deities as I've harvested their bountiful herbs. :)

Great info and pictures. I own a paranormal forum and when someone asked a question about making spell stars I did a search and found this page. I posted a link to this in my forum at http://www.talkparanormal.com/thread-4395.html .
