Totem Animal....the Seal or Sea Lion

On a last minute getaway to the beach this weekend I spied many....and I mean MANY seals (is it "seal" or "seals"? lol) ! I never thought about what the seal represents as a totem animal so here it is! By the way, these seals inhabit the Newport, Oregon docks. They are well fed by the fisherman and clearly spoiled. Lol!

Totem Animal: Seal or Sea Lion: Imagination, Creativity, Dreaming

A Seal or Sea Lion Totem can show you how to develop and focus your imagination.
Seal people are highly imaginative and very creative,
and they need activities that channel and direct those activities.

Hearing and balance are very important for a Seal totem.
Learn to listen to your inner self and balance your life to it.
Tap into your Seal totem and expect your dreams to become more vivid and significant.

I took a little mini movie of them as well. There's one seal that's trying to fit in with the sea lions...it's so cute.

  1. The video is so cute. He was just trying to curl up and get comfy. I think he needed just a little bit more room. Thanks for sharing!

  2. My grandma use to call seals 'skin slips' because they were the winter skin for merefolk so they would not freeze in the cold waters of the north atlantic. Everytime I have had an experience seein seals or sea lions I end up with a really special suprise that year. I hope the luck finds you.
