Happy New Year everyone! Just got back from California....loved, loved, loved the weather and beach *sigh*. Then in time to get back to Oregon to a freak snowstorm that debilitated the city and a 4 hour commute home (which normally takes 20 minutes) from work the other night! It was crazy! Of course I was out of gas, my phone died and I had to go the bathroom really bad so I had to detour through all that mess. Oh well, through the whole thing I stayed thankful and the fumes got me to the gas station and I found a place to go to the bathroom. Lol! I also bought a car charger only to realize I already had one in the car later. Lol!
Hope you all have a wonderful New Year! Tonight my girlfriend Thea and I will be doing a Blue Moon Spell! A spell and a nice dinner. :) This will be extra special since Blue Moons come around once in a Blue Moon (ha! ha!). What are your plans?
I sense 2010 as a great year! Here's what's coming in mine. :) This is Cimara. She's a beautiful 12 year old Missouri Fox Trotter. If all goes as planned as of January I will be leasing her for the year! We've already started to get to know one another.
Blessings to all and stay safe!!
xoxo
Happy New Year!

Happy Blue Moon. Sounds like you will be having a lovely time. That horse is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and thanks for stopping by! *^_^* Sadly, no blue moon for us tonight: rain/snow mix falling since this afternoon. *U_U* My! What a lovely creature! I am jealous.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe in all that snow. My friend HC lives out in Oregon too and has been talking about the weather - brrr! We have gotten quite a dump here too, but the rain is falling now, so who's to say what it will look like by tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing more about Cimara!
Lots of hugs and New Years wishes from me and the crazy cats!
oh what a beautiful horse, how gorgeous! xx
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Michelle! I don't know how I missed your "Vintage Kitchen". I just love it! I hope you had a fun New Years eve. The girlfriends and I enjoyed margarita's and watching "Practical Magic" (my fav). Many blessings to you and the kitties in the New Year!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sharon
Happy New Year Michelle! Sounds like you had a wild ride home. Nothing worse than having to go to the bathroom and can't! So glad that you had a good time in warm California, the beaches are wonderful. So glad you are back!
ReplyDelete(((HUGS)))
I'm so glad to hear that you made it home safely, and that you had a wonderful holiday vacation!
ReplyDeleteThat horse is beautiful! I hope that you get to enjoy each other's company for the coming year.
Your bathroom story and traffic reminds me of my daughter being stuck in interstate traffic outside of Chicago, and needing to go. This was at night, and they were stuck for over 4 hours. Apparently a lot of other people were having the same internal problems, and were resorting to getting out and heading into the nearby wooded brush. And each time someone left their car, everyone else would honk their horns. My daughter held on for as long as she could, but eventually had to give in to the fact that the relief was going to outweigh the embarrassment! lol
I'm happy that you didn't have to resort to the same solution! :-)
Wishing you a fantastic New Year!
Wait...you can lease horses?
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty, for sure!
I'm way late (what's new?), but I hope you had a wonderful Blue Moon New Year!
